Caught a pic of some silly birds sitting on the edge of the ice, waiting for warmer waters.
Then I snagged up a photo of an ice fisherman's house up close.
I was tickled and smiling when I peeked in the little window to see what it looked like on the inside.
If you want to play along, can you guess what two items I saw besides the hole cut in the floor with a lid?
Neat photos for sure, really love the top one with the birds. My guess would be a chair and a bucket.
bluegum: Thank you. I wonder, too. Ha! Well, the company would be nice. It's one of my favorite things to do--just wandering about with my camera, wondering what I might see.
starchini: Half right! Only the "chair" was the wide cloth seat out of a car. The only other thing I saw was a burner for coffee, I presume. I don't know how they used that unless they had a little generator of some sort.
hegemone: Glad you liked them. As I told starchini, it was a car seat taking up one side and on the other was a burner with two eyes, for coffee I guess. So you were half right, too.
Two wonderful pictures of your surroundings ,i wonder how those birds feet don't freeze while there standing on that ice.
