Shit happens. While it's unfortunate this is the kinda thing where the best thing we could do is very publicly court martial a few people. Make a big deal about it and quietly on the side make sure they're okay and understand this is more about us not giving the impression that we think this is okay than it really is us being pissed off at them. It's an "I'm sorry" moment and not a quiet low key I'm embarassed to admit I fucked up sorry.

Sean the part that is as we say in Australia ''sticks out like dogs balls'' is the intolerance to any thing to do with the Koran. And seeing as they were used to relay messages i say onto the bonfire and burn em. Blue.

And for every one we burned we just justified their claims that the West hates Islam and created a new batch of terrorists. Besides there are other ways to keep them from passing messages. Store em some place stupid. Just pile em in a box and store em. Or hell get them out of the country CLAIM to store them and then burn them. Replacing the korans with fresh ones might have been a better choice.

That would have happened ,The Army would have been cleaning out stuff that the deetainees were using to advise others how to beat the system.

I don't understand this Koran thing because writing or defacing a Koran is against Islam and burning the defaced ones is a well known practice in Islam. Maybe it was because it was Christians burning them that has everyone pissed. Personally I think they are looking for an excuse.

Well i suppose as seeing the problem these books cause the simple way out is to wherehouse them and in a place where there is paper loving termites who would love em.
