I always thought Mermaids were like Santa just a figment of your imagination but am happy to say no there real ,i just love good stories like this .
Can you even think of the number of little girls world wide who would love to have a mermaid tail .

Oh i don't know Star, wouldn't you like to swim around in a Mermaid tail ,cause you gotta go all the way no top an all that, i think any girl mermaid would be a sensation.

I was on the "swim team", and swam competitivly for ten years, doing the butterfly (the dolphin) stroke was the worst of them all! The leg movement is whats easy, its bringing both your arms out of the water and shooting yourself forward thats hard. I love the water, and I love swimming...my mom likes to tell me the story about how I had to learn to swim cause she couldnt keep me out of the pool. She would go to sunbathe and me being just 1 year old would jump into the deep end fearlessly. So I was swimming well by three. I feel like wearing a unitard in the water would be like a handicap is my point. What fun is it to just flip along in the water trying to be elegant or pretty? Much more fun to do the pencil and spin yourself in circles, and handstands and launch off rope swings and feel the sand (in my case mud) between your toes : )
