I LOVE TEA

Something you may not know about me is that I love Tea. Im a bit of a collector, I like to try different Tea's that I cant pronounce or that come in a beautiful tin. I get home, google the Tea I discovered and learn about all the health benefits while I enjoy my fresh brew.

I fancy the old fashioned Tea Kettle/Pot way of drinking tea, I am aware they have fancy new devices that you can dump loose tea leaves into and the Caraffe Gizmo filters the leaves out through the bottom, quite a neat contraption that I havn't tried yet. I do just fine with the dangly balls to hold loose tea and the regular 'ol tea bags.

I drink coffee all day long and all night long I have tea. My standard add-ons is a bit of Honey &/or Sugar, sometimes a splash of cream. I get creative and mix up my teas a bit. Right now im dabling in Oolong Tea, its supose to help your digestive system and actually increase your metabolism.

I came upon this nifty little poster and thought it was worth a read for anyone else who loves Tea.

We drink tea but not as much as we use to Kinny use to drink lots more tea then me and to see her sitting at the table with a cup of tea resting on her top lip not to far away from her mouth at meal times ues to be a hot topic .

Kinny doesn't drink any more than 1 or 2 cup a day now because something started to happen to her in regards to the excessive amount of caffine she was getting ,things like getting panic attacks and wierd impulses like want to jump off bridges when we,she was driving across them,it all stopped when she cut the 6 or more cups of tea out per day and all is ok now but she rearly drinks more that 2 now ,interesting post Star.

I LOVE tea, too, star!

Right now, I am cradling in my hand...well before I started typing this comment obviously, LOL....a tall glass of warm chai tea. I do love the chai tea I used to order in Starbucks while we were still in Germany. Now, we live in a village, I either have to make my own chai tea (which I have not done in the style of Starbucks, yet!lol) or wait until an occasion when we are in a city (Amsterdam being the nearest, 20 minutes away).

At home P and I just like you like it traditional and simple...boiled water poured on tea leaves (simple metal filter) in tea-pot or in the tall glass (we drink our coffee in mugs and tea in high glasses mostly, although I plan to get us this gironomous cups I fancied for a long time now!)....

I love tea-time so much that I used that for a long while as username. lol

What's your favourite tea? And what have tea you NOT tried yet but definitely what to get but haven't yet? Curious!

@ blue that is interesting what you mentioned re: tea/caffeine intake and panic attacks...I have to read on that...

Mine is not as worst as before, and they decreased in frequency but nonetheless, I do wish it will totally disappear since when it does overcome me, I am unable to function :(

How fun paper! I must admit the best tasting tea I've had is chai too! I steep it for 5 minutes and add a big lump of brown sugar and some cream...delicious, I'm having some now : ) I'd love to try some sassafras tea, looked for it, cant find it, supose to be great for bronchial problems.

blue, glad kinny got to the root of the problem. Thank you!

Hi uni : ) white tea is nice and mild, I too enjoy a cup now and again.

Neat facts to share! I'm into tea, just not as much as I could be. I'm always interested in trying a new kind, or just sitting down and having a nice cup of any tea I've got on hand. It's like a special treat for me though, which I guess is why I don't have it every day because when I do choose to sit down with a cup of tea it's my own little mental 'get away/treat'.

Thank you woman, but none of those things you experienced apply to my brother and his wife. Its their first kid, they acted like this since his birth, like I said-they are pretty uppity. By that I mean superior snobs that I love dearly. This has been read the rest
