"Working" on Winning

18:17

Tuesday

I have to ADD that lately what is making my brain HURT is the ongoing blogging competition I am participating in.

It's all about striking while the iron is hot situation for me. A part of me is enthusiastic, while another part of me is wholly skeptic and the rest is simply exhausted.

I'm torn between doing it all NOW, and listening to the wise part of my brain that says, people/things can wait, they've done so before, they can still do so NOW....think of your mental/physical health X 1,000

Shortly before the school holidays begin there seem to be always a LOT of simultaneous activities from the girls classes. Yup, demandsrequests, here and there TIMES three.

Thank goodness, I have learned well in Germany NOT to get involved with everything, and just do what is MOST necessary.

As I keep repeating for years now: we focus, we prioritize and we simplify.

Now, I really need to set the table and get things going in the kitchen for my beloved & for our munchkins. I hope later, I can go on blathering about how WE focus/prioritize & simplify

It's so neccesary to prioritize and pace. Life can demand too much and it's up to us to take care of ourself.

Thanks for the positive affirmation, uni.

I like those three words in bold--focus, prioritize and simplify. It's how I write, no matter what I'm writing. I need to do it with my life, as well, but lately my "focus" is only on what I need to do to simplify my life for the goal that will make things better for me. That's my "priority. I know that you have other, better priorities that come first right now, and there's nothing wrong with that at all. Just stay focused on your dreams as you carry on with your full life. Mine is not as full, I guess.

Definitely a good motto, focus, prioritize & simplify. Deserves constant revisiting to keep one in that mind set because life just has too much to offer and it can easily sweep us away to a point that before we know it we're overwhelmed.

Not fair
My son cried to me after his visit to his dad, saying it is not fair that things are the way they are. I knew that the words coming out of his mouth were not his and tried to get him say it, but it only made him cry. Of course, when the poor little thing
