Why is it so fucking hard for people to be honest?
Why is it so fucking hard for people to be honest?
True, the truth may hurt, but i would think it would hurt more if you found out someone was lying rather than coming out with the cold, hard truth...
Not for the liar, better to try to get away with it to not hurt you our himself and take the risk of getting caught in order to preserve the bliss...often times the allure of no punishment at all is worth the risk of really bad punishment, where as if a person told the truth they would surely get bad punishment.
I can see your point, but i see things a little differently. If i found out someone was lying to me, then i would be more mad if the lie had gone on rather than just being honest sooner. Im still a firm believer in honesty is the best policy.
Yes, everyone is, but it's harder to walk the line when a human error puts everything you love at risk...been there, I've lured to save my world, and I got away with it, no one was harmed and I learned my lesson, I don't regret it. I still think honesty is the best policy, but not always the smartest way to preserve your way of life...
People suck balls.
