Here is a question for some of the sportsminded people on this site. What is with the NFL halftime show? Isn't football a male-oriented sport? So they put up Madonna? What is she like 60? Janet and Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake? What? I remember ZZ Top that redeemed my faith a little in the wimps who design these shows but come on people, Madonna? A 90's has-been who hasn't produced anything in ten years?
Did Madonna put on a good show? Sure if you are really gay, a teenager, or a girl. Football is a bunch or gargantuan dudes running down the field with a ball like a freight train in an attempt to cross a line guarded by a whole bunch of other gargantuan dudes. It is messy, it is violent, and it is awesome.
NFL halftime show designers! Next year think Five Finger Death Punch, Godsmack, or Slipknot and if you want to get nostalgic think Metallica or hiring Dee Snider to sing "We're not gonna take it!"
I'm guessing all demographics watch the super bowl. It's hard to pick music that works for such a wide audience. Maybe they could get the beatles ;)
