A Simple Life in the Village

23:43

Monday

There is truly nothing more wonderful than considering where you live a place of holiday!

We ended our usual day in a special way; it was a day like any other day for us (wake up, prepare for school, get the chores done for the day, the end...) but because of the frozen lakes, canals here in the Netherlands, we had the feeling we were somewhere abroad spending Winter vacation as we went for walk on natural ice and slending with the girls. :)

Photobucket

Modesty for me is one of the most admirable virtue.

I have to ask your indulgence though when I share, that I am absolutely in love with this image, I took today. :D I feel it turn out well considering it was taken under the loud shouts of the girls - "Mommy, let's go!!!" and P's gentle but persistent urging- "Come, Sweetie!" to finally join them. :)))

The simple things make it so special.

This is so much more special than the photos I took of ice recently. I was there alone, musing on my own thoughts, and had no one to enjoy it with with me, but this is absolutely beautiful.

Thanks guys for stopping by!

heggies queenie superb wombie

I feel a bit awful that I have not had the peace, and alloted a quiet time to respond to your previous comments on past posts; also lately, I only have had enough time to post my daily blogs for this personal project/challenge, that I have not even been able to read the posts you have been sharing, which I use to be at least be able to do even if I don't comment. But I know you all understand, and I should not obsess about it!!!

I'm just warming up from bringing littlest to school (on the bike!), and going out again in a bit to take advantage of the wonderful sunny Winter outside! The light is SO gorgeous for taking pictures.

Before I go, I'll put up a blog with two images from yesterday's outing! I wish I can share more but editing in photobucket is too time consuming! I'll try to find out again how to make an album there that you can access it with password.

wombie I'll have to send you a friendship offer again in FB (if you like!?! :) ), that if you like you can view our private albums there :). I think, I was not sure if you were using it, and had to disconnect (only there!) because I was afraid if you did abandon it, and it get hacked, it would have been problematic!

Thanks guys for always being there, I appreciate it a lot, and as you know your friendship makes it worthwhile to share here, and it enriches our life. :)

Don't cha' worry none, paper. It all gets out of hand with the busy days of living.

I do so appreciate your friendship offer on FB, but I VERY rarely go there anymore. I never managed to stick around there even though I ended up with not one but two accounts! At one time I had around 160 friends, then I ended up with only a handful somehow. I got really lost and confused, and anyway, I get dizzy looking at FB! Sorry if I miss out on your always lovely photos because of my personal glitch with FB, but I will keep watching out for them here.
