Remember how Newt Gingrich has been castigating President Obama about being a Saul Alinsky president because he talked about the unfairness of the tax code. Then Mitt Romney talks about his not being concerned about the very poor because they had a safety net. Now Newt wants to give the poor a trampoline so that they can bounce out of poverty.
Saul Alinsky was a liberal socialist who believed in people power, he accomplish a lot of good things for poor people living on the south side of Chicago. In the midst of crooked politics, the mob ruling the ghetto he was able to bring forces on Slum Lords that produced public housing and a transportation system that served the lest fortunate in the city. He insisted on getting better schools and better qualified teachers. His motto was people power and he accomplished many of his feats through marches and sit inn's of city offices. Now newt is talking about people power and providing a trampoline to the very poor. Isn't that Alinsky lite.

Say what you will about Newt Gingrich, if Newt became president, the country would eventually be more like it was under the beloved (by Liberals) Bill Clinton in the 90s. Newt was actually the man responsible for all that, the balanced budget
Meh it's kinda hard to tell. They all talk shit about Keynesian economics while using them. So they either don't know what Keynes said or they know their base is stupid and that if you can tie something to commies they'll vote against it. Either way I don't know if anything about him changed.
