Dear People Of Florida

As you (people of Florida) go to the polls and vote for a Republican candidate for president, please remember this ...

A VOTE FOR ROMNEY IS A VOTE FOR OBAMA.

PLEASE VOTE FOR GINGRICH AND HELP END OBAMA.

If Newt is the Republican nominee, Obama may still win, but Gingrich has a much
better chance than Romney.

I sincerely hope we do not have to find out. Gingrich MAY lose as well, but
Romney WOULD lose for sure.

Putting forth Newt would be worth it just to see him cream Obama in several
debates. That would be oh so sweet.

I see no difference between Newt and Romney other than religion. That's what you're basing this on isn't it?

sean_renaud said 4 months ago ...

Probably that he secretly loves Obama and knows that Romney might put up a fight but Newt will be crushed.

I'm just guessing that Newt blew it with the moon base thing. I predict that like Howard Dean's yell, it'll be his swan song.

reckoner said 4 months ago ...

I think Newt blew it by getting kicked out of his leadership position by his own party years ago.

The amusing part here is that alien and d6fer are reduced to supporting a guy that was paid by fannie and freddie, was a proponent of a healthcare mandate, etc, etc. It just proves my point that the only thing they really care about is whether there is an R or a D by someones name.

Know nothing about this, but was talking to my sis on the phone and she mentioned that her tv show was interupted by news that Romney had won Florida. Can't even say I know about that for sure, either, but Florida keeps coming up in the bottom line of poles for some reason, and I'm just curious about that. (Bush recount dealie, best I remember)

Yes, Romney has won Florida, but it is a long way from over simply because the majority around the country do not want Romney. They did not want him in 2008 and they do not want him now. Do you honestly think McCain was better liked by Republicans than Gingrich? Give me a break. Someone on the radio last night said that Romney still had remnants of his "machine" left in Florida, which is why he out gunned Newt. Plus, Romney can go negative and no one complains, probably because the Liberal media wants him to win (remember Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb).

The simple fact is, the Republicans are deciding the next president. It would
be hard for Obama to defend a year of negative remarks about him and his
dismal record (or lack of a record). He is still basically untried and untrue,
inexperienced due to his do nothing first term. I say it WOULD be hard unless
Romney is the Republican guy. Romney cannot call Obama on his failures
because he has done basically the same things during his career.

There is simply no sharp contrast between Obama and Romeny. The debates
between Obama and Romeny would be a yawner at best.

A lady called into the Mark Levin show yesterday and hit the nail on the head.
She was complaining about how the candidates are decided early on by a
couple of states. By the time it gets to her state (or maybe mine or yours),
usually it has all been decided. Look at the candidates who have already
dropped out. They had no chance in southern, western, or northwestern
areas that might have liked any one of them better. I suppose it is all based
on averages, but, if that was true, why did Romney win here and Newt
win there and Santorum win over there?

It would make more sense to me, and we might get a better candidate, if
all candidates campaigned across the country and then there was a super
Tuesday in May where each state votes and really has a say in the
decision. That might have gotten us Mike Huckabee instead of Tweedle
Dee (John McCain or Mitt Romney).

It is just sad that the Republicans have a real chance to get rid of the worst
president of all time and, instead, they may well hand him four more years
on a silver platter because MITT CANNOT WIN.

Of course, I hope I am wrong because anyone ... ANYONE would be better
than the sorry excuse for a president we have now. As Newt says, our
children and grandchildren deserve better ... much, much better. But the
main problem is, and the reason Obama got elected, too many people,
like the retired Yankees in Florida, are thinking of themselves and not
the future of the greatest country in recent history and not the future
generations of people who are going to have to pay for our self centered
nonsense.

This is the perfect explanation. "Democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into universal, rather than religion-specific, values. It requires that their proposals be subject to argument, and amenable to reason. I

We will have to see about that. I think Obama has had it. And where did you see his record? No one else has. I really do not know that much about his past (no one does), but I know as a president he is a loser. And, if you had a brain, you would read the rest
