I have the sads today and can't concentrate on any work. Well I've been getting it done but I've had LOTS of mini breaks.
My sister is leaving town today, in exactly 1 hour actually. She's moving to a town called Karatha - a mining town because there is no work here and she wants to keep her house.
I'm going to miss her dearly. No one to hang with, no one to get shit faced with actually, no one to go swimming in the creek with, no one to winge to and listen to winging LOL, I guess most of all I'll miss having someone who knows me, understands me and enjoys my company at such close proximity.
sigh what I'll do now I don't know but this mining boom is really tempting I swear to god its tempting.
I can earn 3 times as much as what I do now for 1/4 of the work load, the only hitch is unless you're being offered accommodation there isn't any and what is available is over 2 grand a week.
Better get back to work... sigh
I'm sorry to hear that your sis will be further away. Is it close enough for the occaisional weekend visit? I know it's not the same, but ........ The mining thing sounds great on the surface, but with that hitch in the acommodations it kind of sounds like a vicious cycle.
