I am down 8 pounds in 6 days and have lost 2 inchess off my waist, maybe more cause I didn't think to measure myself until a few days in.
It has been difficult incorporating excersize but I have been doing calisthenics and that may have contributed to the inches lost in my middle. Im happy to say the Ab Lounger is no longer a place to put clean laundry until I find time to fold it. I have been using it. Sex too, that seems to be a simple way to squeeze in a little excersize. Hubby has been getting it twice a day instead of only once a day.
I have also been climbing up and down my stairs in the evening for about 20 minutes. I'd like to soon say I have been running it, but between my aching knees and backs im just climbing the stairs. It gets my heart rate up. I havn't actually broke out into a sweat yet though, and im a sweater...So obviously more needs done there. I also went for a bike ride, late January in Nebraska...thats unheard of. The weather has been really pleasant.
I am trying to get Phil to finish fixing up the antique wagon for Remi. It's an original Radio Flyer Wagon, steel construction. It was all rusted out and Mr. Fix it aka Phil insisted on giving it back its life. He patched up the rust, treated like a regular body job he would do on a vehicle. It has been painted white and has the Radio Flyer Print taped off and will shoot it red, some day...
I would like for him to get that finished so I can put Remi in it, it's still cold so he would need a big down blankie, but I think he would enjoy tagging along with me to excersize. Thats been part of my trouble, I prefer excersizing in the evenings and am limited to what I can do with my son accompanying me. Im also sort of picky too, I have to have a little fun or it has to be purposeful. I cant do aerobics infront of the tv I feel like a duche and I just think its stupid. I am an outside excersizer.
Im sure people would be all up on me about safety, but I can put a helmet on Remington and they should back off. I want to hitch the wagon to the back of my bike, I prefer bike riding to anything on foot a thousand times over. Then I can pull Remi behind my bike, oh he would have a blast! I would too. He grew out of the seat attached to my handle bars so im no longer able to bike with him. I would put a new bigger one on the back, but, knowing my son he would cover my eyes or something and we would crash and burn. He would surely think it was hilarious until I made him walk home.
They make these neat little enclosed space ship type mesh nett devices that kids can ride in and it hitches to the bike, but those are fairly expensive and they look really hot to me. Im sure im wrong about them being super hot cause they are very popular. Those are the same concept of my wagon idea, only much safer im sure. Its not like id be riding crazy, just slow riding. Yea, I think its safe enough. Maybe I can get Phil to fab some kind of seat belt. Something that goes around his waist and secures on both sides to the wagon, that way he could still shift around but it would be impossible for him to climb out. Yea thats a good idea.
The weekend was really hard, I allowed my self to go off my healthy eating on Saturday. Something about the weekends, its hard to keep the same mindset. I had a few cookies too. Thats why ive only lost 2 more pounds since my last weght blog. Im sure it was those damn cookies and Seafood Chimichanga. Fucking Girls Scouts of America, little bitches! lol...
Im back on though, Sunday wasn't a total loss, not my healthiest day, but I could have done a lot worse, I still showed will power. Today is a good day too. Missed breakfast, just now finished my salad. Been drinking lots of Lemon Water. Im mostly doing it the healthy way, im doing a couple of things y'all wouldn't approve of but I dont wanna lose my steam. I gotta keep seeing improvements, the slightest plateau and and I lose all hope. Im ok with things slowing down, but i've dieted often enough in my life to know myself and I know if I go more than a week without losing anything I think "Fuck it all"...But im not doing anything that can't be maintained permanently. Im all about lifestyle changes here, im not on a diet and I havn't counted a single calorie. Im just eating lots better and trying to get physical.
Nice job! I'm sure the added exercise speeds up the loss. Do whatever kind of exercise fits your lifestyle. The thing is to move.
