Some think Newt is no better and possibly worse than Romney. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
For starters, Newt is not a Mormon. Most are avoiding that issue as if it does not matter, but it does. Most intelligent Christians (and most non-Christians) know that Mormonism is based on the musings of a weirdo that read too many science fiction novels. Kind of like L. Ron Hubbard -- the guy that started Scientology. At least the followers of Scientology openly admit that their "religion" was started by a science fiction writer based on a boat load of baloney. (OK, they do not admit that last part, but they should.) Mormonism has supposedly changed, but it is still a wacky religion at best.
Plus, Newt is a politician extraordinaire. Romney's claim to fame is being a great businessman and money manager. As someone said (Laura Ingraham?), we need a LEADER right now, not a businessman. That is probably why Romney cannot get out of the twenty something percent range.
People, deep down, know Romney is not the man to get us out of this mess. He is more like Obama than he is different from Obama, which is why Liberals love him. If the choices are Obama and Romney, Liberals cannot lose. They will simply be getting a Republican Liberal instead of a Democrat Liberal. Of course, if Obama and Romeney are the choices, Obama will most likely win with a landslide of the few voters who turn out. That is the only reason I will not go vote for Romney. I think it will do absolutely no good.
Newt is a proven leader no matter what troubles his penis got him into in the past. And we all know that, deep down, Liberals / Democrats / Socialists do not care about that. In fact, it might actually cause many of them to vote for Newt. I am frankly surprised that Obama beat Hillary Clinton in 2008. I would have thought Democrats / Liberals would have wanted their randy ex-president back in a position of power so he could engage in more daring do. They seem to love it so much.
Sorry, I already have. Romneycare overshadowed that memory, I suppose. But thanks for proving my point.
