time for yakkster...

I'm not even working (unless you count my writing) and I am only here when I feel like interacting with familiar folks here. I take a break from my day by being here and catching up, and maybe writing a post of my own. I still have that thrill of writing the post and thinking it would be nice to have lots of comments, but it never matters. I appreciate the ones I do get, and I still try to answer them all.

The only other thing we could do is to be here 24/7 and try to stay connected to everyone at all times, and we just can't do that. It's still nice that we can come back here and find those connections when we need them most.

I do that too, in a way. I'll think 'OK, now time to catch up with Yakkstr' and I'll open the link among others, and among doing other things on the computer or outside of it, and just can't focus enough to read what I've got pulled up so I decide 'Nah, I'll do this later when I can just focus on all of it' and then I don't find time to get back. Then I do what I'm doing now and have a marathon catch up, manage to stay caught up for a couple days, and drift off again, lol. It's not for true lack of interest, but purely lack of appropriate time. I value each relationship I have with everyone here and don't feel it's fair to only 'half ass' read a post and not be able to give a true comment on it.
