Say what you will about Newt Gingrich, if Newt became president, the country would eventually be more like it was under the beloved (by Liberals) Bill Clinton in the 90s. Newt was actually the man responsible for all that, the balanced budget and the prosperity, and of course Reagan's 25 years of prosperity had something to do with it. At any rate, Republicans / Conservatives were responsible, not moronic Liberals like Obama and Clinton. Just look back to the early 2000s (what the hell do we call the first decade of a century). You probably had a job and were doing pretty well even after 9/11/2001. How have you faired since January of 2007, when Democrats took back the House and Senate and eventually your beloved Obama took office in 2009? I spent the year (2009) and part of the next year unemployed. Only by the grace of God, I am employed again, but who knows for how long, if Obama is somehow allowed to continue for four ... more ... years. Think about it. What if Jimmy Carter had been re-elected. We would probably be a third world country by now. There is no telling how bad things would have been, and the same goes for Obama. It is not so much a matter of Obama's personal failings and inabilites. It is the Liberal / Democrat / Socialist philosophy he and his followers STILL believe will work ... when they are now proving that it clearly WILL NOT work. The only reason we are hanging on as well as we are now is because the Republicans have regained a small bit of control over what happens. Even if Obama is able to dupe enough people to get re-elected, we can only pray that Republicans take over the Senate as well. Then they can at least keep him and his failed philosophy in check, and maybe we can creep and hobble along until the next time. If there is a next time. Obama will still be commander in chief and he has shown he is willing to go around the House and Senate. Not to mention Supreme Court appointments. OMG. Really, really think about all that. Our future depends on what we do next November. We can only hope the Republicans offer us a good choice. The question is: is that possible? You tell me and we will both know.
I am just dying to see Obama debate someone with a brain and someone that does not believe pretty much what he believes ... like Romney. It also pains me that the Liberals / Democrats / Socialists have picked the Republican candidate again. History is now repeating itself. Romney could not even beat McCain and McCain could not beat Obama. So, there ya go. It is simple logic: A is less than B which is less that C therefore A is less than C. I am not sure what you mean about magic. Newt WAS behind Clinton's economic success in the 90s. That is a well known fact. You remember facts, right?
Nobody to the right of Romney is ever likely to get the nomination ever again. That era died in the 50's.
Ha ha ha. Now that is a cute notion. You really must believe in magic. I am sure Liberals / Democrats / Socialists thought that before Reagan became president (actually, I know they did, I was there). There is always a period of living it up (like the roaring 20s) before a period of downturn and depression. This is simply our period of downturn and depression before a new group comes along and either gets us out of it or kicks our ass and throws us out.
LOL. I love that you believe in magic. It's so cute.
Newt not that he had a chance but he's past gone at this point. And he attacked capitalism. Doesn't that nix him off your list?
