Mr. Trillion

Are you kidding me? Obama is asking Congress for another 1.2 Trillion dollars?
You cannot be serious. Obama wants to spend more money that we do not
have on crap we do not need? I thought his military cuts were going to save
a boatload of money. That is NOT the main thing we should be cutting. Why
not cut the EPA ... out of existence? We can only hope we are not attacked by
some country like Iran because of his dismantling the military.

We should be cutting the "social engineering" spending. We should get
government out of the way and keep it doing what it really should be doing.
Obama has government doing what it should not be doing, and not doing what
it should.

Obama is just getting weird. He is like some drunken wife beater. It is like he
is trying to see how many beatings his followers will take before they bail or
call the cops.

Some say he cannot lose next Fall. Are you freaking kidding me? Have the
Democrats gotten that stupid? How many beatings are they willing to take for
this egotistical moron? I doubt that he will be remembered as the first Black
president since he is probably going to be remembered as the first insane
president or the president that destroyed America.

Wake up Democrats. There is a point at which even the best coach has to be
thrown out for molesting team members. (Ask the people at Penn State.)
Help us get rid of this guy and come up with a better candidate next time.
The bad news is, you are probably going to have to go all the way back to
JFK to find a good model for that candidate. Stop offering up socialists,
sexual perverts, and idiots like Jimmy Carter.

Another 1.2 Trillion dollars? You have to be freaking kidding me. I cannot
believe my eyes and ears. We can only assume Boner and his bunch will
say NO, but what about Reid and his chamber of dipwads? I am starting
to think they all have to go.

I heard a congressman last night talking about all the stupid spending we
are doing as a nation. Do you know we send aid to China? And then we
turn around and borrow money from them? Is this the Twilight Zone. If
things are this stupid, there may actually be werewolves and vampires.
Who knows what is possible if they give Obama another 1.2 Trillion
dollars. Pigs may start to fly. Pig shit seems to be dropping from the sky
already, so, who knows. Maybe pigs are already flying.

These people thought they were voting for a real president, one that would
help them and do the right things. Little did they know they had entered ...
the Twlight Zone.

Excuse me but I have to fire up my flying car and get to the unemployment
office to collect all my government handout money and "free" healthcare.
How is that working out for you? How much more are you paying for your
insurance this year. ha ha ha. What a joke.

Reck-That chart is very poor and very inaccurate. This website outlines government spending as the following: It is important to highlight deficits are spending above what we take in debt is money owed by the Federal goverment.

Deficits:

Obama Deficits: Bush Deficits: FY 2012- $1101 Billion FY 2009- $1413 Billion

2011- $1299 Billion 2008- $248 Billion
2010- $1293 Billion 2007-$161 Billion

Debt:

FY 2012-$16.7 trillion

2011-$15.5 trillion
2010-$13.5 trillion
2009-$11.9 trillion
2008-$10.0 trillion

Total spending under Bush from 2001 to 2008 is a little over $34 trillion and spending under Obama is just over $29 trillion. This is not good for either Bush or Obama but to say Obama somehow is better than Bush on spending, debt, and deficits is silly.

reckoner said 4 months ago ...

it's not silly it's true. Bush's policies increased the deficit more than Obama's has by a long shot. And to be clear, deficits are what matter, not spending.

Bush starts a war, that war is still going on when Obama takes office, who is responsible for the spending on that war. Even though some of that spending happens under Obama, we all have to agree that the spending was caused by Bush. That's what my graph shows.

grapekoolaid said 4 months ago ...

Believe me Alien. I would love to vote for somebody other than Obama, if the Right had put forth a serious candidate. Heck, I would have even considered Ron Paul had you guys nominated him. But noooo. You guys trying to nominate either a managerial kleptocrat in Romney (who I'll guarantee will continue the policies of Bush and Obama and widen the global conflict against the United States while trouncing upon the rights of all citizens and line the coffers of him and his cronies) or Perry who can only name the father, the son and... uh... What was the third one? Oops. or Santorum, who's all about coming from behind and covering the state (or your face), not a serious one out of the whole batch of dozen crazies that you had. Motley fools!

I keep saying this is what happens when you let the clowns take over the circus.

outlander said 4 months ago ...

Reck-this blame Bush for everything doesn't work anymore. Look at the numbers and sorry what is Aliens post about? Obama wants to spend more even after what he has all ready spent isn't working.

reckoner said 4 months ago ...

alien's posts aren't usually about anything. they go something like htis, "puppies are cute .... trillions and trillions ... hitler, muslim, moron, abortion .... Obama

I'm not blaming Bush for everything, but pointing out the hypocrisy of the republicans rhetoric. We can't give giant tax cuts to the super rich when they are the only ones gaining anything from our increases in GDP.

Our biggest problem right now is the economy, and our long term problem is the out of control increases in healthcare costs. If we went back to the tax levels under Clinton and stopped starting wars we wouldn't have any major deficits other than a slump due to the economy being down.

@grape ...

Yes, I am starting to think Newt is the guy, too. I would love to see a debate
between Newt and Obama. What a sight that would be. Romeney may not even
be the Republican's guy in the end. If he is, Obama will easily get four more
years. (Heck, I might even vote for him over the wacko Romney.) Of course,
all that depends on whether there really is something like the Illuminati running
this country (the world?), which I am starting to suspect, considering Obama
became president in spite of all the reasons he should NOT have. Surely we can
all agree (except for the diehards -- reck and sean) that Obama is a complete
disaster for the country whether it is the fact that he is a closet Socialist, Muslim,
or egotistical narcissist that can spin a pile of dog crap into a chocolate mousse,
which Liberals / Democrats / Socialists lap up like there is no tomorrow for our
children and grand children. Or because racist Conservatives / Republicans /
Independents / Libertarians / Tea Partiers just want to see the blackish man fail.
How is that any different that racists Liberals wanting to see the white man fail
(Reagan, McCain, Romney, yadda yadda yadda)? I think we all know this is not
about race (considering Obama is more white and Arab than his dominate black
genes would lead anyone to believe). It is about an inexperienced moron running
what used to be the greatest country in the world. We must also face the fact
that Obama might be absolutely right about everything, but, considerning that
the Democrats ran (almost) everything since January of 2007, why is everything
still such a mess? Are you actually going to tell me it is because of the brain dead
Republicans in the House and Senate now (like Boner and McCain)? How can they
be as stupid as you think they are and still keep the brilliant Obama administration
from doing much of anything except destroying our health care system? (I still
hear that Twilight Zone theme music.)

@outlander

reck is simply a bit jealous because he (like bloc, his alter ego) cannot string more
that a couple of sentences together. He has to post meaningless charts created by
goofball homo Liberals that usually prove that Bush was as stupid as he (reck)
thinks he was. I will admit, Bush is not that high on my president list, but is still
pretty high on my "he did what he had to do" list. Anyone with a brain can see that
things started going downhill when the Democrats took over congress in 2007. And
things have continued to go downhill since Obama took over.

@reck

Puppies ARE cute ... torture, torture, torture ... Bush did it ... I would have
sex with Obama ... homosexuality is natural, I know ... I hate my children
and could care less what kind of world they have to live in ... I should have
aborted my kids ... here is a chart.

Sorry, but you started it. ha ha ha Could there be a better example of the
immaturity of Liberals / Democrats / Socialists than good ole reck? I think
not.

I think the "super rich" should just do the right thing and give most of their
money to Obama. Oh wait, most of them already are either as taxes or as
campaign contributions. Increases in healthcare costs? OMG. And then
passes Obamacare and everyone is already starting to feel the increases
in healthcare insurance. Pretty soon no one will be able to afford insurance
and there will be no one in the business (doctors, etc.) to help those who do.
We do not need more regulations. We need less regulation. Ask the people
in the booming telecom industry. And, try to remember back just a couple
of years. We did not start the war -- terrorists did. Liberals do not care
about war or even their fellow man for that matter. Wait, I take that back.
Most Liberal men do care about other men or aborting unborn babies.
Oops. There I go again.

grapekoolaid said 4 months ago ...

I'm not saying Newt is the guy. Not at all. If you're interested in things being exactly the way it is, if you're loving this clusterfuck, then you want to nominate a Washington insider like Newt. Romney might have the hair to beat Obama, but he's not going to make anything better. He's going to make things considerably worse. He's going to concentrate the wealth in fewest hands possible. Perry can't string three words together, Huntsman might be the sanest one in the bunch but I don't know, because I don't pay attention to him. Nobody does. It's too bad he's being portrayed as a travel-sized Romney, but that's what he is, inne? Santorum... Well.. He's Santorum. He won't even be able to beat himself. Perhaps he can beat himself into a frothy mixture.

Obama is going to be known as the President who signed NDAA into law. After all the smoke clears and all the hype over Obamacare and unemployment passes, his legacy is going to be the guy who signed indefinite detention of American citizens into law in the name of combating terror. Forget about closing GITMO. We're going to open up more of them. A new wing, maybe.

outlander said 4 months ago ...

Reck- You guys need a different slogan because that has been done and done and overdone to point it is just annoying. Tax cuts for anybody working or not working is a matter of debate but holy crap is what Obama doing working? Say what you will about Bush but under him the unemployment rate was low and GDP growth was high. I don't give a crap who gets the tax cuts I just want this economy moving forward faster than a snails pace. And are you actually claiming that a giant tax increase on the wealthy would have worked to get this economy going? Certainly under Clinton tax increases worked during the internet boom but right now taking more more money out of a near dead economy, are you serious?

alienated said 4 months ago ...

Wikipedia says ...

The detention provisions of the Act have received critical attention by, among
others, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and some media sources
which are concerned about the scope of the President's authority, including
contentions that those whom they claim may be held indefinitely could include
U.S. citizens arrested on American soil, including arrests by members of the
    Armed Forces.

Why would it surprise you that Obama signed this bill into law? This has Obama
written all over it -- more presidential power to do whatever he wants if he is
not getting his way. The surprising thing is that there are people like you guys
who cannot see through all this stuff. Anyway, Huntsman is out. Duh. It is
slowly but surely narrowing down to Romney and Perry. The arguments against
Perry are pretty lame considering Obama gets his tongue in a knot every time
he is away from the teleprompter. Even when he is reading from the teleprompter
he is blithering a bunch of inconsistent lies. If you are in any way honest, all you
have to do is go back and listen to what he said last week, last month, or last
year and see how he is lying about it today. The big difference is that Perry
governs the most economically successful state in the union. You can try to
claim that it is not because of him, but it is because of Republican / Conservative
philosophy -- not Democrat / Socialist / Liberal philosophy. I heard the guys on
the radio last night talking about how companies and corporations were fleeing
California for places like Texas. California is more like Obama's vision of
America -- an oppressive, over taxing nanny state -- except that on the
national scale companies flee to other countries taking their jobs with them.
And who could blame them? No, if Newt became president, the country would
be more like it was under your beloved Clinton in the 90s. Newt was actually
the man responsible for all that, the balanced budget and the prosperity,
and of course Reagan's 25 years of prosperity. Republicans / Conservatives
were responsible, not moronic Liberals like Obama and Clinton.
