At some point you're just cheating.
In the not to distant future it will be possible for scientists to take direct control of insects in a number of interesting ways. The first which isn't really that impressive in the grand scheme of things is Cornell University (where my sister went) figured out how to patch into a moth's muscle system and force it to raise and lower it's wings or even flap them. Michigan University figured out something that's kinda creepy but amazing none the less. They found out how to intercept the messages between the eyes and brain of a beatle and can then route that into a machine.
The research is (supposedly) for rescue missions when people would have a hard time moving around and finding people quickly. Imagine if instead of searching with people or even with relatively bulky robots if we could instead send moths into earthquake wreckages to search for survivors and the time and lives that would save.
I just want to be there when someone puts a great white brain in a predator drone. That shit will be. . .wait for it. JAWSOME!
I supply my own smiles.
Wow that is JAWSOME (where did you come up with that word?), Why are you skeptical of their motive?
