I'll admit it. I've been known to indulge in a little retail therapy from time to time. I have no shame. Malls, small discount stores, websites, family owned shops, it makes no differnce to me.
I love to browse and I've learned that it's not the actual purchase, but the hunt which I'm addicted to.
You see, recently, I gave up my en masse ways and have chosen quality over quantity, thus cursing myself with impecable taste.
Take my word for it, impecable taste and a medicre budget are a acutally a blessing.
I will pick up an item of clothing, for example, look at the price, shake my fist and say, "Curse you and your impecable taste!" Then I put it back. Many people stare as I walk away.
I try on clothes, put them back.
Yes, I often pick things up and put them back,
spending very little.
My mother gave me a large gift card to Macy's for Christmas.
I visited several times before deciding to blow it all on one heirloom quality saucepan from all clad.
If I could apply this and self denial to all areas of my life, I would be in business!
What do you think?
I think your right, my curse is impeccable taste, small budget equalls negative bank account! lol. I try not to shop cause ill buy so I cant afford to look. Kudos to you though!
