Saturday
I am shaking my head and chiding myself silently because I am SERIOUSLY trying to come up with other words to describe how I feel, than feeling "blessed" and being very grateful for this feeling. It's ridiculous. It's like going against who I am to not stand out nor be paranoid that I will be "hated" because I am expressing how I do feel. After all it is my way of giving thanks to whatever greater power is out there that has allowed me to receive "blessings" I am truly grateful for. No, I won't end the year that way. Everyone has a right to expressing themselves, I respect others, and I hope others would give me the same courtesy.
Somewhere on my desktop is a draft I wrote about not having New Year's Resolution for a long time now; it was my attempt to go back in my past and document some chapters in my life I kept pushing at the back of my consciousness. But I don't have time to finish it now, so I will do as I always have done with blogging anonymously and write thoughts flow as they come.
No resolutions, only small projects that reinforces all that I strive for my family and myself: simplicity in life, harmonious existence and good health.
Good health! I feel tomorrow I can go back to my training. I have a week to make myself strong enough to finish the 10 kms race in Egmond aan Zee a week from tomorrow.
Tomorrow, we will have a family get together. We are bringing a home-made raspberry charlotte. The link is the Dutch recipe I am trying out for the first time tonight, and I'll give you the English translation if it's any good! I'll be preparing two, one the family and I will eat after the fireworks at midnight, and the one we are giving to B tomorrow. This will be the first home-made dessert for my Home-made365!
Home-made365, a project I'll tell you more about in my first blog on the 1st of January,2012!
2012...wishing you all a prosperous New Year, and 12 months worth of love, positive energy and good health!
