The US Dollar will not be the National Currency

I've seen it....two things....it could happen.....and they are trying to sell something.

I think the answer maybe somewhere in between.....They are claiming that it will happen this year or possibly next.

It's not gonna happen. Relax. Not saying NOTHING is going to happen but yeah he's a liar out for your money. Of course people have a normalcy bias and in most cases they very well should. It's not like you can prepare for most things but so much anyhow. A financial break down of America is different from a flu outbreak is different from terrorists attacking (by which I mean regular and sustained attacks, say what you want about 9/11 it didn't keep most people home for very long the way say car bombs in mall parking lots every couple of weeks would). Yes sometimes you're gonna be wrong and somethings gonna happen but USUALLY it doesn't happen. Did you guys stock up three years worth of firewood in case the Mayans were right? Or that other guy?

(1.) Yes it's true even if we taxed everybody at 100% it wouldn't be enough to eliminate the debt, we'd still have to borrow. Who gives a shit. Go look at your own finances, if you applied 100% of your income to paying down your credit card you'd still have to USE your credit card afterwards. That's not actually worth reporting. It's that difference between debt (long term problem) and deficiet (short term situation).

(2.) Most countries can infact print money, in fact part of the problem with Greece is that because they went on the Euro and they can't print those.

(3.) Just sayin who was president when we turned the corner in the 80's?

(4.) I'm curious how many of the things that he's quoting about commodities "skyrocketing" are BS like oil. It's true. The price of oil has doubled under Barack Obama, that shart starts in 2009 for a reason. Just using gas remember under Bush when gas was 4.50? Then when he left office and Obama took office it was down to 1.99 for a heart beat when the stock market was at 6500? Now that we're back up at 11k (or so) the price of oil and gas is back up around 4.00. Such bullshit.

(5.) Considering how much more the dollar is worth compared to the yen or yuan our prices would likely lower if that happened. I'm curious what he's basing his belief on how a central banker works.

(6.) I know from experience that when you travel abroad your credit card (and ATM cards if you want to withdraw) simply translate the dollars into whatever it is you need. Cus it's just numbers.

(7.) Worth noting that while 14% of us are on food stamps and we've got people in shanty towns it's not because big business isn't making money. It's because they don't and didn't pay people.

(8.) China does not have more of our debt than anybody. We do. Foreign debt is a lot less than that. It's roughly 5 Trillion that we owe everybody and a little over 1 of that goes to China. Besides we buy all the crap they make, yanking the rug out from under us would be stupid at best.

There are plenty of things that I'm not even going ot look into like the Silver portion or whatever and stuff. There are plenty of claims he makes that I'd love to have him define the WHY part behind. The US may or may not remain the worlds reserve currency. There are too many Republicans (and frankly Democrats as well) for a single world currency to become a reality anytime in the near future. It's not gonna happen. It's just a paranoid video by a man taking advantage of paranoia.

I had relatives like that, who took Y2K way too seriously. Of course, my plan was to
head to their house if things did start getting weird. I figured I would be welcome to 
help hold off the zombies (the ones that were not relatives). I also listened to that 
presentation (what I listened to was not actually a video). Once you got into it, there 
was no stopping. So it took an hour or so to listen to it. It was interesting, but I can
only hope Republicans will regain control quickly enough to reverse the damage the
Democrats have done since January 2007. Reagan has shown us that one president
can fix what the dufus before him has done. The next Senate and House will be 
Republican so it may not really matter who the president is. If it is a Republican,
most of the current candidates are light years more able than our current dufus ...
