Before I start preparing myself for the official registration to a 3-week intensive course I'll be attending in the city, I wanted to write about my contemplations on using the pages of this site for a personal project.
In brief:
Ever since discovering a Flickr page, 2-3 years ago of a very inspiring lady, who took on the challenge of taking self-potraits of herself for 365 consecutive days, the 365 concept has fascinated me.
For 38 consecutive days now, I have been taking pictures for my own 365 (random images, and not only self-portraits). This is my third attempt on this project and this time I confidently feel that I'll be reaching my goal. I never regretted the other two uncompleted attempts because they have tremendously helped me a lot in moving on in a life that has been full of major changes and transitions of late.
The smooth flow of the project 365 in words and images, gives me this invigorating energy, which is animating me to start another project - a smaller scale than 365. Perhaps a couple of you have already heard of NaNoWriMo, well it is how NaBloPoMo was born. For the complete background story please check here.
Please let me apologize in advance if the formatting of the links above does not work since I am just trying it out for the first time here. :)
I joined NaBloPoMo last month, thinking I'll start on the challenge this month, but somehow, I did not feel the connection (yet) with the site. So, here I am thinking I should simplify, and perhaps house my NaBloPoMO attempt here.
We'll see.
