The first one is funny as all get out. If I was the censor I'd probably have let this one go, cus honestly if you're old enough to get why their laughing then you're old enough to hear the joke.
This second one, for those of you not familar with Batman the clown girl's name is Harleyquin, and she has pig tails. This one is so blatant (and really the entire episode is this bad or worse) that I have no idea how it could have slipped past anybody. Remember this is/was a Saturday Morning and after school cartoon.
Even as a little kid, granted I did know that "pie" meant at the time but I could work out the context. Remember she's totally wearing her uniform under there. Yup yup.
The whole premise of the episode is Harley goes to kill Batman because she's not getting laid and Joker nearly kills her, and she doesn't mind because apparently women in love will keep loving you no matter how much you abuse them. From a kid's show! I found that episode jarring at the time.
Jeez...I never watched those shows as a kid, but yea they seem pretty adult. Although now that im a mommy, I gotta say I appreciate adult friendly cartoons. Not like these ones, but haha funny ones...They are tolerable for me to watch and Remi loves them too and I can rest easy that he isnt being damaged...We watch Phineas & Ferb, Kick Buttowski, & Fish Hooks. Those are my faves and he likes them too : ) I'd have thrown the tv out the window long ago if I was forced to watch Barney of the one with the yellow bird. When i was a kid I never watched the little kid cartoons either, i watched Ren & Stimpy, that was pretty much it...maybe thats why im like this. : P
