I'm sitting here writing this as I'm waiting like a vulture for an Ebay auction to close. I'm bidding on an item I really want and I'm determined to get it. So far, so good. It's a great buy even if I have to go a little higher.
Today was Thanksgiving for my side of the family. It was a great day. The food was awesome and there was lots of laughter. I kind of threw my carb counting out the window today. Tomorrow I'll be good again.
Yesterday was the in-law Thanksgiving. I was glad when it was over but it wasn't an awful day. I seem to be winning the nieces over with my handmade barrettes and a few of the nephews are at a age where they get my sense of humor. So, it didn't suck. :-)
I made one mitten today. The other to the set will get created tomorrow. I can do them pretty quickly these days. I'm going to put some in my shop when I get all my custom orders finished. I think that's 3 more sets. I'm betting I will get more orders when I deliver a couple orders to the hair salon on Tuesday. I have to say that my mittens are fabulous. :-) Who know I had it in me? They intimidated me at first, but one day it just popped into my head how to solve making the thumb area on my loom. I love when that happens.
Life is good at the moment.
