When you think of fantasy (the genre), what color is it and why? Is there more than one color?
what about: Mystery? Science Fiction? Horror? Military fiction? Historical fiction?
What other genres do you read and what colors are they?

Books? I know this one...When I read "PUSH" everything was RED, that was a novel, not sure what genre it fell under, but I think whats more important is how I felt reading it...I was ANGRY throughout, pissed at everyone that hurt precious jones.
when I read Letters to Penthouse...its all purple, *dont know why just it : P ...that one would be fantasy.
When I read "NIGHT" and "THE ROAD", it was all gray...those were sad too and dark feeling. they made me cry.
Everything had a pink color to it in "TENDING ROSES"..idk why....
interesting that I cant read in multiple colors : P
Famtasy.. it's .. purple. I think of purple as a.. sort of... magical esk colour? I dunno :P
Scince-fiction type deal I think of green, or a grayish colour. Both can kind of be like a metal, and when I think science fiction I think weird out of the reality robots and vehicles and such.
.. Books I really like are red.. cause red is my favorite colour :)
Hmmm, I have to say off the cuff, rainbow color because fantasy is myriad in definition and possibilities.
Just to name a few genre I read, and the color I associate with them:
Travel books : blue (I always associate blue with liberating feeling) Biography: brown (I think because I associate the color brown with familiarity) Philosophy: white (When I think of Philosophy, I think of clearing your mind for different perspectives)
Thought provoking post, ex. :)
